The estate grounds and River Oaks Lodge offer an ideal setting for family vacations and reunions.
With a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, a 30 x 30 great room (with stereo, dvd player, satellite television, piano and wet bar), five bedroom and three baths, and a 30-foot furnished porch offering a panoramic view of the Courtois River Valley, the lodge offers a beautiful and serene setting for friends and family to relax and reconnect.
A fire ring in the cedar grove just outside the Lodge is a wonderful place to spend the evening, and the fishing lake just west of the Lodge is stocked with blue gill, bass, catfish and crappie. The 200-acre estate grounds include beautiful paths and trails that are a delight to explore.

The fully equipped gourmet kitchen at River Oaks Ranch Lodge includes a dishwasher, oven, two cooking alcoves (with griddle and grill), microwave, warming station, extensive cookware and utensils, a Cuisinart food processor, china and crystal. The kitchen has everything needed to entertain in whatever style you desire—from simple country cooking to the most elaborate cuisine.
The 10-foot table in the dining area, with room to seat 10 or more people, is a wonderful place for festive gatherings. There is additional seating for 6 at a nearby table.
There are laundry facilities located on the premises.
The 30 x 30 great room is the heart of the lodge—with a fireplace hearth spanning 20 feet. It offers endless possibilities for relaxation and entertainment.
The room opens onto a furnished 30-foot covered porch that has an expansive view of the Courtois River Valley and the tree-lined ridges that run along the Courtois and Huzzah rivers.
Guests can listen to music, watch television, play the piano, or just sit and enjoy one another's company as they warm themselves by the fire.
Great room amenities include a piano, stereo system, satellite HDTV, DVD player, a game table (with games on hand) and a wet bar.
With a large picture window offering a panoramic view of the River Oaks Ranch grounds, the lodge's master suite is a retreat within a retreat.
The suite is composed of an 18 x 20 foot bedroom, an adjoinging 10 x 15 foot bedroom, and a large shared master bath.
The master bedroom includes a king size bed, dresser, library, and several seating areas.
The adjoining bedroom includes two twin beds, dresser, and a seating area.
With four graciously appointed bedrooms and two baths, the lodge's west wing sleeps 10-12 people comfortably (two hotel style rollout twin beds are available). Guests will find ample closet and chest space as well as a comfortable chair for reading in each room.
